Peer Pressure

My child, if sinners entice you, turn your back on them! They may say, “Come and join us. Let’s hide and kill someone! Just for fun, let’s ambush the innocent! Let’s swallow them alive, like the grave; let’s swallow them whole, like those who go down to the pit of death. Think of the great things we’ll get! We’ll fill our houses with all the stuff we take. Come, throw in your lot with us; we’ll all share the loot.” My child, don’t go along with them! Stay far away from their paths. They rush to commit evil deeds. They hurry to commit murder. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭1‬:‭10-16‬ NLT)

If the crowd is doing wrong, make it less crowded. Easier said than done right? Peer pressure can be a great thing and it can also be a terrible reality.

Not many students want to stand out and be alone, especially if they might lose friends. Any friend that asks you to compromise something that you believe in is probably not as good of friend as you think. Facing peer pressure is having the ability to do what is right even though it is not popular.

The key to this is to determine your standards and boundaries before a situation arises. It is so difficult to make the right choice in the heat of the moment. Curious about what God says about peer pressure? Find out this week!

Will be talking about Peer Pressure this week on how to cope about it and get rid of it.. Stay tune every night! It’s gonna be a great #jeanjourney !

God Bless you now and always,

❤ Je
